My husband took me to our 3rd TMS banquet - only this year was the BIG (over 1000 guests!) Banquet! They actually set us up in the Air Force One section of the Regan Museum. We enjoyed fine dining, fun fellowship with our friends at our table, and wonderful music by Jubilent Sykes!
Daniel and I also ventured over to the giant steel beam display during the intermission only to discover that it was a 1200 lb. beam recovered from the World Trade Center, on loan to the Regan Museum en route to the USS New York (whose bow is made of similar memorable steel). Though seemingly random to have this enormous chunk of steel suspended from the ceiling while formally celebrating a milestone for a seminary, after further reflection, it seems strikingly appropriate. God's grace upon The Master's Seminary has enabled the faculty and staff (and those students who have sought after their teaching) to remain stalwart to God's Truth in an age of tolerance and constant change. As my husband remarked, "What a privilege to be a part at such a time as this!"
