Overdue Update!
Well....our family has been busy packing, moving, and unpacking, enjoying the holidays with family, and anticipating the soon arrival of Baby Mac!
Daniel got a new job with Signature Fundraising in September. He is now the rep for the Inland Empire...commuting from Santa Clarita wasn't ideal (90 miles one way!) so we knew a move would be inevitable...mid-November we moved to Riverside into a beautiful little home! We quickly connected at our new church (Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church) and are enjoying this new season where God has brought us. It was heart-wrenching to leave family and friends in SCV and at Grace Church but God always does what is best - and we have already seen some of His wisdom and love in action!
All that to say-I have not been taking pictures during the past 2 months which have been"full speed ahead!" Thanks to my parents coming down a couple weeks after we moved - we got all the pictures hung and our new home felt .... homey ;)
Riverside and the surrounding areas continue to to amaze us - lots of similarities to the SFV and SCV valleys, etc...and yet still unique! For a girl who has spent 11 of my 12 SoCal years in SCV (the one year being when Daniel and I were in SFV), moving to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT county and starting all over hasn't been as bad as I imagined it to be. We are especially grateful for our new church and the relationships God had prepared for us there!
Owen and I have kept busy with much holiday baking during the last few weeks:

We visited Downtown Riverside for the Festival of Lights
We are closer to Owen's Gramy now - which is fun!

Our visit to Georgia!
that pulled out to the runway... :)
He did a great job obeying his daddy and mommy to and from GA in the tight quarters of the middle and aisle seating as well as Mommy's 6 month pregnant belly!
The stewardess' took a particular liking to this cutie pie and made sure he got his wings on his first memorable time flying! ;)
Auntie Anna with the Ian and Owen :)
Uncle Daniel with the bunch at bedtime
Big thanks to our hubbies for this girls day out! :)
The 'cousins' held hands everytime they were in the car together!
Running wild and free...boys!
Owen loves sticks... he is such a boy! ;)
Enjoying our Scotch Eggs for lunch at the Scottish Highland Festival...we of the German decent joined right in with Tom's scottish heritage - Daniel couldn't stop talking about the food all day! Anybody know how to make Scotch Eggs?!?

observing the great Scottish cow... ;)

Pics with the Music Master

We had such a fun time at the Highland Games! At the closing ceremonies we enjoyed all the bagpipe players (100+?) playing "Amazing Grace!" It truly was amazing! Thank you, Tom and Anna for this special memory with y'all ;)
Owen and Emma
Wheeeee!
Kindred Spirits getting to watch our kiddies play together at the park!
Like ducks drawn to water...thankfully Daniel and Tom are watchful fathers!
