Daniel got a new job with Signature Fundraising in September. He is now the rep for the Inland Empire...commuting from Santa Clarita wasn't ideal (90 miles one way!) so we knew a move would be inevitable...mid-November we moved to Riverside into a beautiful little home! We quickly connected at our new church (Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church) and are enjoying this new season where God has brought us. It was heart-wrenching to leave family and friends in SCV and at Grace Church but God always does what is best - and we have already seen some of His wisdom and love in action!
All that to say-I have not been taking pictures during the past 2 months which have been"full speed ahead!" Thanks to my parents coming down a couple weeks after we moved - we got all the pictures hung and our new home felt .... homey ;)
We visited Downtown Riverside for the Festival of Lights
Riverside and the surrounding areas continue to to amaze us - lots of similarities to the SFV and SCV valleys, etc...and yet still unique! For a girl who has spent 11 of my 12 SoCal years in SCV (the one year being when Daniel and I were in SFV), moving to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT county and starting all over hasn't been as bad as I imagined it to be. We are especially grateful for our new church and the relationships God had prepared for us there!We are closer to Owen's Gramy now - which is fun!
Owen and I have kept busy with much holiday baking during the last few weeks:
